Welcome to my world!
I have been a full time ceramic artist for several years now and having the opportunity to share my knowledge is my greatest joy.
I offer one day workshops (in my studio or in location), and ongoing throwing and hand building classes in small groups in my studio in Aalsmeer.
Would you like to know more?
All of my work is wheel thrown, carefully altered and meticulously glazed. It is a very long process that requires patience, care and love.

Learn the basics of wheel throwing and hand building or perfect your technique in a weekly class.
One day workshops for special events where you can experience creating with clay with your loved ones.
Share a day with your colleagues while exploring your creativity.
Students can choose to focus on hand building techniques (pinching, coiling, slab building, sculpture), wheel throwing or a mix of both.
For students who are beginners at wheel throwing: We will dedicate the first 4 classes (first month) exclusively to wheel throwing techniques.
For more advanced students, specific projects can be discussed with the instructors and the classes will be planned accordingly.
I will be presenting unique handmade designs at Moustaqbel. Come take a look at my new pieces, get to know the work of other artists and enjoy a nice cup of coffee or tea with tartelette!
My name is Teresa, I was born and raised in Argentina but I have been living abroad for many years.
I discovered ceramics as I was going through a difficult period in my life, and it quickly became a grounding activity that filled me with peace and creative energy. I never stopped after that first class, taking classes everywhere I went.
When I moved to the Netherlands, I opened a shared studio, The Pottery Ladies, with two other artists. The last few years I have been creating, teaching and learning (never stop learning) and I could not be happier. Thank you for joining me in my journey.
You can visit my studio by appointment to buy pieces. You can email me or send me a message to arrange a time.
Sometimes. I only work on projects that I am passionate about but I love discussing other people’s vision and ideas to see if we could be a good match.
Not at the moment, I am at the studio every day but out of respect for my students and coworkers, I prefer to only receive visitors by appointment.
I do offer one day workshops to companies (team building), groups of friends (birthdays and such) and much more. Contact me for more information.
Yes, absolutely! However, handwashing your pottery is a good way to reduce the likelihood of any damage.
I was introduced to pottery through Teresa’s wheel throwing class and it was a pleasure developing my skills in her competent, creative and friendly environment. I can’t believe I was able to create the things I did after only a few sessions!

My teacher, Tere, taught me new techniques and how to improve them class by class. I am very pleased about all the pieces that I created and also the way how Tere shares all her knowledge in a nice environment. I highly recommend this lessons and this great teacher.

Teresa taught my daughter Evie to throw pots on the wheel. Her concise, clear and brilliant way of explaining how to through enabled Evie to produce vessels that were even and lovely really quickly. The studio space is a joy to visit, light and airy, and Teresa’s calm and positive disposition made Evie learn so well. I can’t recommend Teresa highly enough.
